Alexisonfire mix growly vocals and incredibly high quality harmonious vocals together in a wonderful blend. I really rate the band, and I also quite like Dallas Greens other project, City and Colour, who play acoustical folk music.

I was a little let down by this album if I'm 100% honest. There are still some cracking songs, like Burial and The Northern, but in places I feel the music has gone a bit too punky for my taste. I still love Dallas's softer vocals, I just preferred the more aggressive singing to the punky alternative used on this album. I think they have set the bar so high with their previous albums, I was expecting something exceptional, and this one just doesn't cut it for me.

Still a decent album, but I'd recommend trying their previous albums as they are far better.
