I'll do a review of it once I've had it for a while. Really looking forward to the Metallica Guitar Hero game due out the end of this week.
Decided to get Guitar Hero over Rock Band because the controls on the PS3 version are reported to work in both games with no issues whilst the rock band controllers supposedly have compatability issues. Plus from all the reviews I've seen people tend to prefer the build quality of the GH controllers over the RB ones.
Rock Band
I managed to pick up Rock Band for next to nothing and can confirm that the GH controllers do all work fine with the game. Must say I much prefer Guitar Hero over Rock Band. Looks better, plays better. Rock Band looks more like a realistic music video but it's not realistic enough to be a good thing, I prefer the cartoon'e approach used by Guitar Hero plus you seem to be able to customise your character a lot more in GH then RB. RB is still worth it as it has some cracking songs on it.
